Frequently asked questions
What is The Lighthouse Healing Center ?
It's a place to come back to yourself. Through coaching, bodywork, breathwork, energy work, and a whole lot of thinking outside the box, we help you uncover what’s keeping you stuck and find what actually works for you. There’s no single path to healing here—just a whole damn toolbox and a willingness to use it.
So... how does this actually work?
We start with where you are and figure out what you actually need. There’s no predetermined formula and no forcing you into a specific modality—we can coach, work with the body, breathe, dig into the weird shit, or change direction completely halfway through. The goal isn’t to follow a process. It’s to find what works.
How much does it cost?
Sessions are priced by time, not service, because healing doesn’t always follow the plan. If we need to shift from coaching to bodywork, breathwork, energy work—or combine a little of everything—we can.
1 hour — $135
90 minutes — $195
2 hours — $260
30 minutes — $75 (available when needed, but rarely recommended)
How can I contact you?
Text is always the best way to reach me! I’m usually with clients (and neurodivergent as fuck), so I’m not great at answering the phone. Email is also totally welcome. If you call and leave a message, I promise I’ll eventually work up the courage to call you back. 😂

I have no idea what I need. Can I still book?
Absolutely. You don’t need to diagnose yourself, pick the right modality, or show up with a plan. Tell me what’s going on, what isn’t working, and what you want to change. We’ll figure out the rest together.
How early should I arrive for my appointment?
About 5–10 minutes early is perfect. If there’s a lot you want me to know before we get started, give us a little extra time to talk so it doesn’t eat into your hands-on session.
What if I need to cancel my appointment?
I understand that things come up. Please provide at least 48 hours notice for any cancellations
Do I have to undress for a massage?
Undress to your level of comfort. It is typical to completely undress for a massage, but you are never required to remove anything you’d prefer to leave on. You’ll be securely draped with a sheet throughout the entire session, with only the area I’m working on uncovered.
Just know that clothing creates some limitations—especially underwear, which can restrict my ability to fully work the hips and surrounding muscles.
Can I get a massage if I'm under 18?
Yes, but if you are under 18, a parent or guardian will remain in the office and the door will be left cracked open.
Will you talk/may I talk during my massage?
Absolutely. Talk, be quiet, laugh, cry, swear, fall asleep—whatever you need. I’ll generally follow your lead. The only exception is when I need feedback from you about what I’m finding or how something feels.
Do you take insurance?
Nope.
Will my massage hurt?
Effective bodywork does not have to mean gritting your teeth through pain. Some areas may be tender or intense, but we work with your body—not against it. If something hurts, tell me. More pressure is not automatically better.
What should I do if I feel uncomfortable during my massage?
Tell me. Seriously. You never need to endure something because you’re worried about being awkward or hurting my feelings. Pressure, positioning, temperature, music, conversation, technique—we can change it. You can also stop a session at any time.
I was recently sick. Should I still get a massage?
If you have not fully recovered, please contact me to reschedule. Massage can exacerbate certain symptoms such as fever, and rescheduling helps me avoid getting sick myself and having to cancel appointments for other clients.
Am I required to tip?
Tipping is never required, but if you are happy with your service, a tip is always welcome and appreciated.
What should I do after my massage?
It is important to stay hydrated, rest, and listen to your body. Some soreness is not uncommon, especially after a deep tissue massage. Light stretching and heat application can help.
What if I get an erection/orgasm during my massage?
This is a concern for some folks, but it is important to know that any physical touch can stimulate the parasympathetic nervous system which can sometimes lead to arousal. As long as everything during the session is appropriate, it shouldn’t be an issue. If you’re still worried, you may want to wear more fitted underwear for extra support and coverage.
Please note: If I feel that the session has taken a sexual turn, I reserve the right to end the massage immediately. Sexual advances will not be tolerated under any circumstances.
